California Conservatives Are Losing Ground on Proposition 50 — Time for Trump to Step In

PROP50-TRUMP

California conservatives are falling dangerously behind in the fight to defeat Proposition 50, a brazen power grab masquerading as “reform.” If passed, Proposition 50 would rewrite the political map, effectively creating five new safe Democrat seats in Congress, cementing one-party control and erasing decades of voter balance.

This isn’t democracy; it’s manipulation. The measure’s backers know California’s political machinery well — bury the details in bureaucratic language, sell it as “fairness,” and rush it through before voters grasp what’s really at stake. And so far, the conservative pushback has been muted. The left is out-organizing, out-fundraising, and out-messaging every step of the way.

Where’s the energy? Where’s the outrage? Conservative leaders need to sound the alarm before it’s too late. Proposition 50 doesn’t just tilt the field, it bulldozes it. The people’s will, expressed through existing district representation, would be nullified in favor of a partisan redraw that locks in Democrat dominance for years.

There’s one person who can flip the script: Donald Trump. A statement, rally, or even a single Truth Social post from the former president could light up conservative media, pull national attention to California, and energize the grassroots in a way no one else can. This is the moment for him to call it what it is — an outrageous Democrat power grab — and make sure every voter in the state hears about it.

If conservatives don’t mobilize now, they’ll wake up the day after the election to find five more seats gone, another rigged map in place, and a movement wondering how it let it happen. The time for half-measures is over; it’s time for a “Hail Mary” play, for Trump to step in and lead the charge.

We are about to be screwed.
