America Doesn’t Need Another Billionaire Savior: Why J.B. Pritzker Should Sit Out 2028

shitty-people-pritzker

Let’s all take a deep breath and admit something out loud: not every governor with a fat checkbook and a few flattering headlines needs to run for president. Especially not J.B. Pritzker. Because if there’s one thing America has too much of right now, it’s rich guys convinced they’re the answer to every problem.

The Billionaire Who “Understands” the Working Class

Nothing screams “man of the people” like a hotel fortune and a private jet. Pritzker’s wealth could probably buy a few small countries, yet we’re supposed to believe he really gets middle America’s struggles? Right. Because nothing says “relatable” like paying more for property taxes on one estate than most Americans make in a year.

The Indecisive Ambition Act

Apparently, running Illinois isn’t keeping him busy enough. There’s already chatter about 2028, though he still hasn’t finished fixing the issues in his own backyard. Call it multitasking or political restlessness, but maybe it’s time to focus on governing one state before taking on the whole country.

The “Record” That Speaks for Itself—Unfortunately

Supporters praise him for progressive policies and infrastructure projects, but critics point out that Illinois still struggles with debt, taxes, and population loss. If his record were a campaign slogan, it might read: “Better than before, but not exactly inspiring confidence.”

The Optics Problem

America doesn’t need a leader who looks like they’re running for office out of boredom. The billionaire-turned-politician story is getting old fast, and voters are growing wise to the difference between “I want to serve” and “I want the power.”

Bottom Line

Yes, Pritzker has money, ambition, and a resume that looks good on paper. But that’s not enough anymore. We need someone who’s been in the trenches, not someone who’s looking down from the penthouse, wondering how the rest of us live.

So, J.B., maybe skip the 2028 presidential warm-up tour. America doesn’t need a billionaire pseudo-hero; it needs a leader who actually knows what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck, not profit to profit.

Forget the polls, just ask any back-of-the-house Hyatt workers.

Don’t be screwed, don’t vote Democrat.
