How the Democrats, Joe Biden & Gavin Newsom Let Three Americans Die — And Why You Should Be Furious

A car crash scene with damaged vehicle, emergency responders, and two well-dressed men in suits contrasted with accident background.

The Preventable Carnage on a California Freeway

On October 21, 2025, a billowing wall of flame and twisted metal on the westbound Interstate 10 near Ontario, California, carved a gruesome scene that should shame every one of our elected officials.

A speeding semi-truck plowed into stopped traffic, eight vehicles in total, including four tractor-trailers and multiple passenger cars. Eyewitness and dash-cam footage show the rig bearing down with no attempt to brake, smashing into one car after another until flames erupted. Three people were killed, four others hospitalized.

The 21-year-old driver, Jashanpreet Singh of Yuba City, is accused of gross negligence, driving under the influence, and vehicular manslaughter. He entered the U.S. illegally in March 2022 from India, and somehow ended up behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler licensed to drive the largest trucks on the freeway.

This was not a random act of fate. It was the culmination of policy decisions and enforcement failures, a profound betrayal of public safety.

The Biden Administration’s Open Border Disaster

Let’s start where it all began: the border. The driver entered illegally, walked free, and got a work permit, issued by the federal government under the Biden administration. That work permit then triggered California state licensing procedures, allowing him to sit behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle. By definition, he should never have been in this position.

When a foreign national crosses the border without inspection, receives federal employment authorization, gets a state-issued commercial driver’s license, and then kills three Americans, the fault lies squarely with those who set the rules. Biden’s lax border policies and the administration’s decision to release migrants with future court dates enabled this.

Gavin Newsom’s California Licensing Failure

Then we turn to Gavin Newsom — Governor of California — and the state agencies under his watch. California awarded Singh a commercial driver’s license despite glaring red flags. According to reports, state officials say the federal government approved the employment authorization, but somewhere along the way, the chain broke. A man with no lawful immigration status driving an 18-wheeler on a heavily traveled freeway? That’s an invitation to disaster.

When you allow non-citizens with minimal vetting to obtain commercial driver credentials, you are playing Russian roulette with public lives. Newsom should answer why the licensing system failed, how enforcement was so lax, and why this man was permitted to drive a death machine.

The Democrats’ Collective Complicity

Now let’s draw that final line: The Democratic Party — as the political force behind both Washington and Sacramento’s immigration, labor, and licensing policies — must face accountability. The open-border rhetoric, the liberal work-permit push, the downplaying of commercial driver screening — these are all part of a package that led to eight vehicles exploding into a freeway inferno and three lives cut short.

If you are a Democrat today and you stay silent, you are complicit. If you are a left-leaning voter and you shrug, you are an accessory. Because policy, real policy, has consequences, and in this case, the consequence was death.

Bottom Line: What Must Change NOW

    We must demand:

  • That immigration releases and work permits be re-examined when they lead to commercial licenses.
  • States like California overhaul how they verify legal status, driver competence, and risk before handing out Commercial Driver’s Licenses.
  • That current federal and state officials — including Biden and Newsom — be held publicly responsible for these fatal policy failures.

Too many lives are treated like bargaining chips in political games. Three Americans died yesterday, not because of unforeseeable circumstances, but because a system built by powerful players gave green lights to disaster.

We are so screwed, and our lives are at unnecessary risk each time we drive in California.
