Beware of Arnold Schwarzenegger: A RINO in Action

Schwarzenstupid

California conservatives need to wake up. Arnold Schwarzenegger is being dragged back into politics as the supposed “savior” of the independent redistricting commission in the fight over Proposition 50. The media is already drooling over the idea that Arnold, a “Republican” who despises Donald Trump, can sway independents and put a stop to what he calls “politicians taking power.”

But let’s be clear: Schwarzenegger is no conservative. He never was. He governed like a liberal Democrat, lived like a Hollywood elitist, and betrayed the very people who trusted him to clean up Sacramento. And now, he’s trying to pose as a reformer again? Don’t buy it.

Arnold the Tax-Raiser

When California faced a budget crisis, Schwarzenegger didn’t fight for taxpayers. He didn’t cut waste. He didn’t stand up to the bloated Sacramento bureaucracy. Instead, he caved to the Democrats and rammed through the largest tax hike in state history—$12.5 billion in new taxes in 2009.

That’s not conservative leadership. That’s surrender.

Arnold the Crony Insider

For all his talk about “cleaning up” Sacramento, Schwarzenegger turned out to be just another insider. The most glaring example came when he commuted the sentence of Esteban Núñez, the son of Democratic Speaker Fabian Núñez, convicted of a brutal stabbing.

The victim’s family begged for justice. Instead, Arnold gave political cover to his Democrat buddies and slashed Núñez’s sentence from 16 years to 7. Even Arnold admitted it “looked terrible.” That’s because it was terrible—a slap in the face to victims and a disgusting display of political favoritism.

This is the man the elites want us to trust on Prop 50?

Arnold the Climate Alarmist

Schwarzenegger bought into the left’s climate change hysteria hook, line, and sinker. He signed AB 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act, which crippled California’s energy sector, jacked up utility bills, and chased businesses out of the state.

He called it “bold leadership.” Conservatives call it what it is: another gift to radical environmentalists at the expense of working Californians.

Arnold the Hollywood Hypocrite

And let’s not forget the personal scandals that revealed who Arnold really is. While pretending to be a family man, he was boinking the nanny—fathering a secret child with his housekeeper, betraying his wife, and humiliating his family.

This isn’t just tabloid fodder. It’s a window into Schwarzenegger’s character: self-indulgent, self-serving, and utterly unaccountable. The same traits that defined his personal life defined his time in office.

What’s at Stake with Prop 50

Proposition 50 is bad enough on its own. It’s Gavin Newsom’s scheme to blow up California’s independent redistricting commission so that Democrats can gerrymander themselves into five more congressional seats. It’s not about fairness. It’s not about voters. It’s about raw perpetual uni-party power.

Now Schwarzenegger wants to act like the “adult in the room,” warning against politicians grabbing more power. The problem? He’s the same guy who raised taxes, coddled Democrats, and empowered the radical left. He’s a RINO—Republican In Name Only—who uses conservative voters when it suits him, then stabs them in the back.

Bottom Line: Don’t Trust Arnold

Arnold Schwarzenegger is no friend to conservatives. He’s no champion of reform. He’s a Hollywood liberal who played the part of a Republican until it was convenient to take off the costume.

On Proposition 50, voters need to keep their eyes on the ball: this is a Democrat power grab. And if Arnold is involved, you can bet it’s not about defending conservative values or protecting the people. It’s about Arnold being Arnold, grabbing headlines, burnishing his image, and doing favors for the political class.

Conservatives should beware: Prop 50 is dangerous. But trusting Schwarzenegger to stand in the way is even worse.

We are so screwed.
